A Simple, Transparent Use of Support

We seek to generate interest in our program among many people and organizations and hope that our efforts will lead to individual donations, corporate sponsorships, and grants that will make this foundation sustainable over the years to come.

We understand that many people are cautious about supporting new or unfamiliar charities. That caution is reasonable, and we respect it. Machiko no Ishi was intentionally designed to be simple, transparent, and easy to understand. Every contribution we receive is used to provide lifelike plush Maltese companions to hospice and palliative care patients-covering the cost of the plush, packaging, and delivery. There are no complex programs, no intermediaries, and no layers of administration.

Our work is modest by design. We focus on doing one thing carefully and well, and on being straightforward about how support is used. Donors can give with confidence knowing that their contribution directly supports patient comfort.

In a landscape of large and complex organizations, Machiko no Ishi remains intentionally small, focused, and clear in purpose.
